As part of the UoL SMS Summer school, we took a research trip to Derby Museum of Making. A completely new experience on how museums present themselves. Collections almost entirely on display, no mystery, completely transparent!
While here, we started on some group work, designing a new trial for visitors to engage with while onsite at the museum. We took a public focussed approach, ultimately conceptualising a trail designed to support the Assemblages gallery to create a more accessible space. See my mood board and our blurb below.
