Alongside my own projects, I have also taken on the task of formalising Olivia Skipsey's (Placement student) interpretations. I brought her label interpretations in line with mine through the design work and typefaces and now I am working on her information board.
The information board has been quite a design challenge. There is a lot of information to fit into 1 A2 board, so a lot of iteration on the design and content has been made. After putting all the information on one poster, I had to ask Olivia to cut down the word. In order for the sign to be readable, the text needs to be large enough to be seen at a distance, which results in less space for lots of information. Olivia's initial idea was the 'cycle' which flows round in a circle.
